"Rachel and the team entered the break when our event careers were taken out by the second largest C word of the world 3 days before our high time. and they did an amazing work feeding 100 people in just a few days that was delicious the service was professional and the price was very reasonable. I can't recommend it enough! Stop looking for your caterers!"

"We didn't stay more than a few minutes as the waitress was beyond rude. Obviously I was very unwelcome with my son and my enquiry about a high chair was met with a blunt terse no. She demanded to know if we wanted food before we'd even opened the menu, and as we asked about afternoon tea meaning just a scone and some tea and we're told no you have to give 24 hours notice. We were obviously an inconvenience so moved on."

"We had 2 great meals here, both evening and lunch as a stop during a beautiful walk across the country footpaths. Really lovely service ..couldn’t do enough for us and the food all freshly cooked and tasty with interesting selection..can recommend stuffed peppers and chicken pie. Good beer. We called ahead to let them know we were arriving as large group and had a relaxed time. Hope to be back next time we are in the area.."

"Quite a disappointing meal. I used to find Pizza Express reliable you knew you would get a decent meal wherever you were. But this was pretty lame eg I ordered a negroni that was really badly made, and although it cost £8 they...didn’t even bother put a slice of orange in. Broccoli side dish was cold and over cooked. The staff were friendly but they never came to check with us whether everything was ok with the meal. Not worth the money felt like it was run by people who just don’t know or care about food, but know they’ll get customers because there’s not much else locally."

"Good eating, nice drinks and a1 service we had three u5s with us and the personal were great with them, and there were even a few child books and a toy pearl frame to keep them occupied during the (very short)! wait for the food."

"Location: Restaurant is located is a lovely area. An old barn was converted into the restaurant today years back. Restaurant has a lot of character and very pleasant. Service: Excellent service from the staff and minimal delays during delivery of drinks and various food...courses. Food: We chose the set menu. The starters were excellent, very tasty and well presented. As a treat we also sampled some bean soup which was very, very good. Main meals of steak (Sirloin, Ribeye) were grilled as requested, however the quality of the steak was a little disappointing. Puddings (Apple pie Ice cream) were delicious. Value: Value for money for the courses. Would recommend as lovely place for dining out."
