Despite having been a reliable French Bistro that many used to frequent multiple times a year, Alexandre in Montreal has unfortunately gone downhill, with patrons expressing their disappointment in recent experiences. From poor food quality, skimpy portions, and low-quality expensive drinks, to disappearing reservations and slow service, many customers feel that the restaurant is not worth the high prices. On the other hand, some customers rave about the classic Parisian Bistro ambiance, delicious food, friendly service, and convenient downtown location. With a mix of positive and negative reviews, it seems that Alexandre may have lost some of its former charm and quality, leaving potential patrons to decide if it's worth a visit.
Based on the average assessment of 3.6 for the Alexandre et fils, one can assume that it has satisfied the majority of its visitors.
