Welcome to The Fish Inn, a charming 16th-century thatched pub located on the banks of the River Avon in Ringwood. We are the perfect stop while exploring the nearby New Forest and surrounding countryside or visiting attractions like New Forest Water Park, Liberty’s Owl, the Raptor Reptile Centre, the Jurassic Coastline, and the beaches of Bournemouth. Our menu focuses on locally-sourced seasonal dishes and traditional pub classics. We rang from the car to book Friday night meal while travelling through. The welcome and service from the phone call to when we left was friendly, charming and efficient. Thanks Paul, Holly and the team. We all had peppered steak and mushroom pie, really tender meat. Good portion size. Lovely ambiance with a live band. Very poor meal served up on a quiet Monday evening. Two of our party had buttermilk chicken burgers which were burnt to a cinder and pink in the middle. We sent them back but there was little in the way of an apology and we didn't have confidence in the chef to cook another one so ordered something else, which came when the other two in our party had almost finished.
