So last weekend we were up in Ryton and headed for The Moon. The front bar is not open but there’s quite a surprise around the back. Eileen and her bloke have been busy and the old car park is now a classy beer garden a far cry from The Rovers. Been here many times but this time rather a disappointment. Sunday lunch was lukewarm. Graveyard boat cold. Sent both back. Beef was plentiful but sadly a bit tough. Staff great, veg ok but carrots and parsnips burnt. Not sure what went wrong today. Will give it a miss for a few months. View all feedback.
