A popular place for Porto Viejo's middle class. I ordered a soup (caldo de hueso) and pescado empanado with rice and patacones. My wife and I shared a mondongo soup. The food was/is satisfying but this place can get busy. It's big, more than 100 seats. The wait staff have their hands full most of the time so be ready to wait a little for service. I had a Viche soup that is supposed to be a traditional Manabí dish.......it was cold, bland, and pricey, the plantain was half cooked, the weitress was very slow on taking the orders and not very helpful......... the place is not as good as it used to be. View all feedback.
The food was fantastic! The service as well, maybe it takes a small ventilation for the hot day...
