I was looking for somewhere special to go for our anniversary. After a lot of searching and reading of reviews I chose The Reading Room. Wow!! What a find. Everything was excellent. Food exceptional. The ambience of the restaurant was ruined by thumping music from the mix DJ placed in the centre of the restaurant. It was very loud and piped into all areas, so no escape. Despite it being quiet when we arrived, it took an hour to receive our drinks and amuse bouche.
