We had the menu and the wine flight to celebrate our jubilee. it was very good and very well presented and the staff was attentive.
1). a star dropped in the review when they ran out of the menu at 8 o'clock.2 beef ordered medium rare, but well reached. the personal gave a fast medium rare replacement that was excellent
This was a last minute booking! we tried the tasting menus and both were really delicious. good drinks, good environment and a very nice evening all around.
The food was fabulous, the staff was very attentive and accommodating.
I was looking for somewhere special to go for our anniversary. After a lot of searching and reading of reviews I chose The Reading Room. Wow!! What a find. Everything was excellent. Food exceptional. As good if not better than the Michelin starred restaurant we ate at a few weeks earlier. Service quietly efficient. Would definitely recommend and will return.
