I have been to Shintaro a number of times over the last 2 years and have not been disappointed with the food. A co-worker recommended the place. The food is excellent and the owner/chef does a wonderful job. Service can be hit and miss, depending on how busy it is. Usually there is only 1 waitress and the chef. Walked in with the family to have lunch around 1145am The restaurant was completely empty. The waitress didn't greet us with a hello, instead she said close the door but quite rudely. When we asked for a high chair she said they didn't have one so we asked if we could put a chair beside the table for the baby and she said no they could not.
