I knew we shouldn't stay, but it was My buddy's turn to pick a restaurant. It was a Sunday evening and all there was was a buffet. I put a little what the owner called chow mien on my plate and a little fried rice. The chow mien was a bland noodle in cooked cabbage. Not a hint of a spice in sight. I could make better rice.
