Needed a place for the family to eat on a Sunday night coming home from somewhere and there is Spud's in all of its cavernous, middle-American glory! The food and service and everything else at this place is a solid three. But Spud's knows this and acts accordingly! It isn't trying to be something it's not and that is worth 4 stars to me. Lord of the Flies. Many others besides me complaining about the fly situation. Bartender promising to rectify situation with her fly swatter, indicating to me this is not an anomaly. Same as last two times I was in. I won't be back. UPDATE: Damn it. I did go back for another try on Friday, January 6th with my wife. Just looking for a simple steak tip Cesar salad.
