Enjoying a quiet winter holiday in Salies, not all restaurants wee open.... but the charming restaurant at the Hotel du Oarc (Casino) was busy and delicious. Great prices, great flavours, contemporary fare and lovely service in an historic Art Deco locale. Definitely worth a visit to this lovely restaurant in this seriously pretty village. We were staying at the hotel so had lunch there. Food was ok/good but for instance, the salmon tartare starter is simply not a TARTARE. It’s basically a salad with cooked salmon on top. The rest was good quality. Service was very slow: stayed 2 hours at the restaurant and it was just two people And my wife took the menu du jour. Far too long and it wasn’t that busy.
