Loved the new Chez la Vie, the food was great as usual. Good to see the fixed price menu available. Although we were regular visits to Station Parade, we often found that it felt a bit cramped and very noisy. The new restaurant interior and seating areas are so much better. Poor onion soup, chewy crispy duck smothered in hosin sauce, prawn/monk fish thermadore pre cooked and monk fish chewy, lacking in flavour, veal smothered in salty sauce, even the vegetables were dry and looked like recycled lunch portions.
