Loved the new Chez la Vie, the food was great as usual. Good to see the fixed price menu available. Although we were regular visits to Station Parade, we often found that it felt a bit cramped and very noisy. The new restaurant interior and seating areas are so much better. Well done View all feedback.
What Gatebluesboy doesn't like about Chez La Vie At The Nelson Inn:
Poor onion soup, chewy crispy duck smothered in hosin sauce, prawn/monk fish thermadore pre cooked and monk fish chewy, lacking in flavour, veal smothered in salty sauce, even the vegetables were dry and looked like recycled lunch portions. Barely pub food standard. Will not be going back. Didn 't complain, we were never asked 'how was your food '...... says it all!!! View all feedback.
