We’ve visited a few times for drinks and eaten twice at The Clifford Arms while cruising through Great Haywood on our narrowboat. Our dogs are always made welcome in the bar area, they offer a superb pint of Landlord, nice food menu and also a specials board, friendly locals. On our most recent visit my husband thought the chips weren’t up to scratch, maybe old fat, they seemed a bit overdone on the outside and empty... View all feedback.

We visited for a weekday lunch. The bar was busy clearly popular with locals. The menu was fine, plenty of options. Prices are competitive. Food came quite quickly. Most items were enjoyed. However there was very little cauliflower in the cauli curry and a pie's pastry top really should be cooked with the filling.
