"The taste of the food itself is fantastic, however since they changed the ordering style (no longer a buffet) and upped the price, I find that it's no longer worth visiting the restaurant. The portions are tiny and you can't order anything additional. I don't know why they added a dessert I don't know a single person who wants a low quality chocolate cake from a Chinese. Get a takeaway, it's so much more worth it. Service: Dine in"

"We came here on a Saturday for a bite to eat! The menu isn’t massive but there was lots of choice, including a special lunch menu. The main menu choices were too tempting and we went for those! Portions were large, tasty and so fresh. Lots of gluten free options too for my friend. The pudding options were also wonderful! We were so full but client resist. The cheesecake was homemade and probably the best I’ve ever tasted! The pub is cosy, traditional and lovely. Friendly staff and reasonable. Worth noting that parking is limited but plenty across the road at the village hall. (If mobility issues, just try and get in the car park! Can’t wait to return! Thank you!"

"Has been many years since I've been here. I tried to complete my Staffordshire Spoons tour with reviewing them all last year, but this one was closed. Today I met two Issies (Maybe Isabelle). Friendly staff that are doing a great job. I enjoyed a Guinness and a chicken wrap with chipotle for 6.20. Didn't go out to view the terrace due to the cool temperature for the time of year."

"Lancaster Gate £5.55 Amstel The Swan Hyde Park, a busy historic pub ready to quench the the thirst of many a Hyde Park visitor. . The Swan was the busiest pub I had visited on my crawl across the North end of Hyde Park, this is probably due to its location and that it also sits on the ever busy Bayswater Road. There has been a pub on this site since 1721 and it is said that this was the last place criminals had their last drink on the way to be hung at the Tyburn Tree just down the road at now Marble Arch. The box seat to get when you visit here is the patio space out the front as this space was the busiest and had a buzzy atmosphere. I was with my sister and my brother in law on this crawl and they remarked that this pub was very much geared up to cater for the many visitors to the area. Inside you can see that a lot of thought has gone in to the presentation of this pub with the various murals, wood panelling and the many pictures across the walls. Overall, this pub felt like a nice environment to spend some your time in. There is a elegant dining room upstairs which leads to a balcony overlooking Hyde Park, this was hired out on the day of visiting. The service was swift enough and we didn’t have to wait long to be served and £5.55 for a pint was average for the area. . The Swan Hyde Park is a decent boozer with some nice features which is set in a great location. . Information correct on visiting 13/11/21"

"Just got home from an excellent night out here catching up with old friends. We ate, drank and chatted all night. The atmosphere is very chilled, cosy and friendly. After eating we moved to sit next to the fire which added even further to the lovely ambience. Friendly staff, friendly patrons and definitely need to start using the pub more often as actually just around the corner from us. Note to the chef...you need to add the current 2 week special chicken sauté to the main menu it's absolutely gorgeous. So tasty and definitely coming back for more."
