had friends arrived from sydney recently so that we traveled 190 km round trip from my house outside warwick. we went to the federal hotel in toowoomba for lunch and drinks. drinks were quite reasonable and eating was very cheap and an excellent quality and size. best appreciated and recommended. a few weeks ago sat for a birthday party after they did not go in years due to bad service and eating before. the evening meal took approx. 11.5 hours to come for our group of 16 with different delivery times and with appetizers in some cases after completion of the meal. my partner and I ordered the special steak that came, cooked raw over the piece, very unconsistent. chips were good....Salad was limp and unharmed....
