"A little local gem in Toowoomba located in Ruthven Street, excellent friendly service and a great selection of tasty burgers to choose from. Ingredients are locally sourced. Fully licensed with a great selection of wine, beer and spirits. We really enjoy the music, the relaxed vibe and playing chess. They have a great variety of live music acts on a regular basis."

"Layout and decor are typical of most pubs and pricing was good. I took up the option of a Guinness pie and my wife the beef roast of the day. My wife was really pleased with her choice and I can honestly say the pie was outstanding, the pastry was perfect, meat chunks in a gravy of good consistency and taste. Topped with peas that could perhaps have been livened up with a splash of vinegar it was a simple meal but so tasty it was disappointing when the plate was empty. Paired with a glass of Pepperjack Shiraz it was an absolute steal at a touch under $25 for both!, if we lived in Toowoomba we would be there often trying out other items on the menu but doubt if anything could pass “the Pie”."

"This is a top little spot.It was almost next door to where I was staying, and being handy, I thought I'd check it out.I'm glad I did!For a start, the customer service was first class.The young girl behind the bar was exceedingly friendly, incredibly efficient, was selling the hotel's fare with great aplomb and made me feel right at home from the start.The food is obviously good, because there were a lot of diners in that night.Barra was on special for about $15, and from what I could see, the meals looked delish!!I had already eaten, but I had some chips with gravy. (I could have had a ranges of gravies or sauces, but I stuck to the original!)A HUGE bowl of perfect chips and a sauce boat of yummy gravy!I got through the lot, even though I wasn't all that hungry.The Gladstone has a good range of beers and has various ciders on tap.All in all, it's a terrific friendly and vibrant little pub!!The staff are great and I can't wait to go back again!Good work!I'm so Glad(Stone) LOL!(Ok! Corny!!!!)"

"Met here with friends on a rainy day. Cosy and relaxed atmosphere. We stayed on far too long but were not harried in any way. Good substantial steak and chips, but nicely done and great service. For a pub, coffee not bad. Clean and not too noisy for conversation."

"Enjoyed a meal at Tom Collins this evening - thoroughly totally enjoyed the experience Would be easy to wax lyrical about TC there was not one thing that wasn't 5 starI love pork belly - enjoyed many meals at many establishments across the country Nothing / nowhere comes close to the meal I enjoyed at TC tonight - perfection Presentation, execution- not one minus on the plate, perfectly cooked -,wonderful array of beautiful varied vegetables - this meal had wonderful flavour in every component on the plate - kitchen take a bow.I'll be marking this Pork Belly meal down as the best I've ever enjoyed - 5 star is a gross misrepresentation of just how good this meal was."
