Had hoped to dine in the conservatory but it’s not in use on weekdays. Service pleasant and prompt. Soup was delicious. Main courses weren’t great. Steak pie gravy almost black with possibly thyme added which didn’t complement. Nice proper dairy ice cream to finish. It was a convenient rendezvous point , but not one I would rush to return to.
