a real pub, they don't see this place too often. it is simple, small and comfortable in the best possible sense, and I felt right away, although I was a stranger. the barman and other customers are friendly and the beer is very pleasant. there is a small beer garden, with a large outdoor TV, so it is great to go football and enjoy it a beautiful beer. What APD812 doesn't like about The Red Lion:
While I enjoyed the food I was shocked and horrified to see the chef pet and clap a customers dog then go back into The Shack and never washed his hands. Some time later he rubbed his hands on a tea tea towel. Previously I’d seem him flatten a burger for a customer using the palms of his hands so was horrified to see this.
