16. April I went to the Mankato Bar for the first time for a karaoke show they had in the night. People there or so kind to someone they hadn't seen yet and made me feel at home. Even the owner Julie came by and greeted me. I never had such an experience in a small bar in a small town. I would like to add that the karaoke was fantastic and there were more great singers there then every karaoke show I had since the life in Wisconsin. Mankato Bar is a fantastic place to do karaoke and have fun with cool people. I look forward to the next karaoke show they have there so I can go again.
What Ken F doesn't like about Mankato:
In surprised this place is still open. You can't tell from outside the building. The pizza is good, but the aesthetics of the restaurant are simply non existent. Paper plates, no wall art, church tables, and so forth. At least that is what we experienced last time there. I'm sure they are trying to keep overhead costs low, but at least make the outside look like it it an active restaurant. It couldn't hurt. View all feedback.
