"We had a family lunch which was pretty average at best. The staff seemed overrun by an early lunchtime rush as there was only two servers for the entire restaurant. The buttermilk chicken dish proved, once again, not to be up to scratch and was...sent back to the kitchen. This should be re assessed by Firkin management. Overall, a disappointing visit especially since we know that Firkin establishments can be so much better one for local management."

"One of our favorite places in the area. Worth it alone for the gorgeous back patio! Staff are friendly, helpful, great to joke around with, and always make our day a bit brighter. Food is delicious and well-portioned, and service speed is A+. They have a huge list of scotch, and have given us wonderful recommendations on which ones to choose. Throughout the pandemic, Allen’s has always felt like they genuinely care about the safety and comfort of their guests, and they take public safety measures seriously. We’ll keep coming back forever!"

"It was Summerlicious and it was lunchtime for those who work in the area so the noise level was too high for my liking. I dined with 3 other people and overall the dishes were good but not stellar. The server was prompt and efficient even though it was very busy. I wouldn't mind trying other things on the menu when it's not Summerlicious."

"Easily the best gluten free cupcakes I've had. Their unique because there are 4 elements to each cupcake. Sometimes, I get tired of all the cake in a cupcake but these, they have a nice hidden bit of wonderfulness in the middle of each one....Try them. Just do it. You won't be disappointed!"

"I had the steak cheese idea and it was really good. the shed crust surrounds the perfectly prepared filling for a crust/fill duo in every bit. the room was clean and spacious feeling in view of its pretty small footprint. my very favorite soap cake...is still out of pie face in Australians, but pie squared is a good second without a foreign trip!"
