"There’s a reason why all the other reviews are in French: Rue Dagorno is not in the tourist areas. English is not spoken in this neighborhood, so I needed my best French. I came to visit Picpus Cemetery but arrived before it opened. Looking for lunch, I walked down a few streets and was about to enter a pizzeria when I spotted Dagorno’s awning down the street. There was still a small table available so I sat and had a marvelous lunch. I admit to using my phone’s translation app to confirm that what I wanted to order was in fact what I thought it was. The bistro itself is small (as mentioned in other reviews) but is totally delightful. The food was excellent and the service was perfect and accommodating to my obviously flawed French."

"It was raining, most restaurants did not open for an hour but La Terrasse Bercy was fairly busy. It was raining and it had two floors for inside dining. By the time we left it was packed with locals. Service was quick and food cooked...just right. The menu featured steak tartar, not our thing but the salmon and rice was done to perfection as was the salad with fried chicken breast."
