"We were a bit lost looking for a car park with longer than 1hour and found Fisherman's Wharf restaurant at the back of the main road. Outdoor seating would be pleasant in summer but we chose inside to escape the wind. The menu was extensive and not expensive and the restaurant has a range of wines and beers on offer. The seafood chowder came with 2 slices of toasted flat bread and was the perfect match to a Villa Maria Sauv Blanc (available by the glass). It was the ideal choice for a light lunch and there were newspapers available to browse while you waited for your food. There is also a gift shop to check out and of course the view across the wharf.Staff were friendly and attentive with a serving system that would help during busy times."

"Brilliant setting and nice service, but the fish and chips were the worse I have eaten (ever) in any country- UK, US and Aus (and all those between). The batter was not cooked and we had to scrape it off before eating the fish (which was rather palid and not particularly fleshy). The chips were also under-cooked and inedible. All-in-all a terrible meal."
