Another review highlighted the unsatisfactory vegetarian options which were overly sweet. However, a positive review praised the excellent food and service, particularly raving about the dessert menu. Another satisfied customer enjoyed a unique and flavorful meal that surpassed expectations. On the other hand, a couple was disappointed by the bland food but praised the attentive waiter. Despite mixed reviews, the restaurant offers a calm and sophisticated setting with well-prepared dishes and attentive service.
The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the food is delightful, although the menu selection is limited. The staff are friendly and attentive. However, the toilets are in very poor condition with no space to close the door and broken buttons. This issue really needs to be addressed. My partner was completely put off from returning due to the state of the toilets. Service was for a dine-in dinner.
Let's start with the positives; the food was absolutely delicious! This was hands down the best Indian food I have had since moving to Oxfordshire. The service was quick and the delivery person was extremely kind and thoughtful. However, I have to give this restaurant 3 stars due to the exorbitant cost of the 3 dishes (nearly £30) and the small portion sizes which were only enough for one person. I find it difficult to justify these prices, especially since I do not live in London. Having lived in Berkshire before, I know that food prices are typically higher there, but for £30 I would usually receive generous portions that would last me for multiple meals. I suggest reevaluating your pricing or increasing portion sizes in order to retain my business in the future.
The service at this restaurant was exceptional. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. They also checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. Overall, we were very impressed with the level of service and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
This is not good food. Garlic naan was hard as a rock. Manchurian mushroom was cooked in a sugary sweet balsamic like concoction. Amritsari fish had no spices just a soft coating of batter which was not crispy. Paneer tikka was awash with food colouring and had no flavour. The dal was palatable. Overall this was atrocious food for a very steep price. Service: Delivery
I would give this restaurant minus stars, disgusting service. Food order via an app which they accepted and took payment for. When order didn't arrive and I phoned, I was told it wasn't their problem and they just hand the food over to the driver. The restaurant then hung up on me. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
