Contribute FeedbackA new addition to the dining scene in Pleasanton, this restaurant offers a unique blend of Indian and Nepalese cuisine. While some have found the experience disappointing, including issues of incorrect orders and lack of empathy towards dietary restrictions, others have raved about the standout dishes like the vegetable momo and garlic naan. The menu offers a variety of options, with some praising the extensive all-you-can-eat menu. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a mixed reputation with some promising elements worth exploring.
We were promptly seated for our 9pm reservation for date night on a Friday night. Leo our server was very nice and quick to attend to our needs. We ordered the Supreme which is $62 pp and you have 1.5 hours to eat. Leo helped make our decisions easy with all the best meats, salad, soup, wontons and vegetables. I recommend to order all the meats at the beginning so you can start cooking! As you get the flow of cooking then you can rotate out the meats that you don 't like and add more of your favorites. The garlic rice was amazing. The head server does come by after one hour and says it 's last call as you only have 1.5 hours for the meal. We enjoyed everything and finished off with green tea ice cream PLUS the lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Chi processed our rewards coupon and we left happy. The only recommendation is to make sure you ask for a private table fi you are on date night so that you don 't get sat next to a 10 topper with three kids who like to cry. The Manager was kind enough to make our evening special and we left happy.
You can eat at Gyu-Kaku for the day dining or the special day. You will get good service and great food! And I think you can try the Choco Lava Cake it is so good)
My favorite Japanese bbq spot and our waiter was amazing
My brother is plant based and asked several times to make sure his food had no meat and no dairy. They served him chicken, and the way it was cooked, he ate it, thinking it was garlic. It almost immediately made him sick. The manager wasn’t empathetic and offered a salad dressing which he stated was vegan to compensate. It was not vegan and had eggs in it. Very disappointed with this experience.
The service was okay. Whem we would order something the server tends to forget about us and didnt change the grill unless upon request
