Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant offers a buffet option that comes highly recommended, although the a la carte menu is criticized for being overpriced with small portions. While some diners were disappointed with specific menus, such as the Valentine's Day special, others praised the quality of dishes like the tempura and matcha tiramisu. Vegan and traditional seating options are available, and guests have noted the fantastic service and Japanese-inspired decor. Overall, the restaurant is seen as a great option for a pleasant dining experience, especially for those looking for vegan choices or a Japanese-inspired meal.
I recommend going here for the buffet. Their a la carte is terrible. Extremely overpriced with tiny servings. Better spending your money on something like en bar.
One of the best Japanese Restaurants I've ever been to! One , because their food was outstanding. Two, their service was fantastic!!. The waitress were wearing Traditional Japanese Clothing and they have this room where you can sit on the floor and eat like the Japanese. It was a lovely experience and defs coming back!!
I went for dinner, had an entree and dessert. I enjoyed a truly Japanese experience in terms of food and Umeshu + Sake, staff were friendly and took the time to explain different types of Sake and Umeshu which would complement the food. The choice of desserts were also well explained and we had the Tiramisu with green tea powder and black sesame ice cream which was not too sweet. I liked the Classic Choya umeshu that was recommended. Would definitely go again.
Very nice traditional japanese decor. Has an option for traditional japanese seating. The angus was nicely done and well presented. Service was great.
I rarely give out score less than 3. This restaurant really disappoint me with their Valentine's Day menu. The reason I give 2 out of 5, one point for the atmosphere & decoration & service, 1.5 for the food. Not all food is as bad, tempura is perhaps the best out of all the 5 courses Valentine's Day menu. And really, you can't go wrong with tempura in a Jap restaurant, aren't you? Dessert was an absolute disaster, chocolate cake with strawberry jelly topping.. :(( dunno how to explain but it's just..bad..Strawberry was too sour! Oh, strawberry sorbet wasn't bad tho, I only touched that for dessert.
