Buon Giorno Italian Bakery - Ajax

Dropped in for a quick bite. Had the veal on a bun. Remineded me of the veal on a kaise that I usedto purchase at a pub close to work. All that was missing twas the HOT. Asked for some hot sauce. Got hot peppers in a side dish instead. They wanted to charge me for this but since the order had already been paid for, they waived the cost. The beal was very tastey and large. I was taxed to finish it.

Cute little Italian bakery in Ajax. Hot food is good, cannolis are great, and the little area to sit down is nice. Service is friendly mostly. Ultimately the prices are what keep me away most of the time. A little too overpriced.

I really like this place. Excellent food and very good baked products for dessert. I really enjoy the meatball sandwich, the pepper and potato mixture, the arancini and the cannoli. I wasn't actually that impressed with their pasta dishes. This is also the type of place where if they run out for the day, they are out, so sometimes you can go there with your heart set on something, and wind up a little bit disappointed.

My husband and I were referred to this delightful eatery by a sweet lady at Artisan & Specialty Cheese, at 289b Kingston Road (They were closed on Monday but the lady was working on a fundraiser). I had a rice ball with cheese in the middle, breaded chicken (Chicken Parmesan), vegetable with sausage dish, cooked and cut potatoes, and then finished up our meal with cannelloni pastry, butter maple tart, and pecan butter tart. My husband had a chicken sandwich which he really enjoyed. I wish I had asked the lady at the counter, who was otherwise very helpful, to heat the chicken and rica ball in the microwave. It was warm, not hot.We did enjoy a flavorful lunch.

This is a great little Italian Bakery with a hot table lunch counter. Always fresh pasta and homemade Italian Pizza. The lasagna is my favorite but equally as good is the chicken or veal on a bun. Staff is always friendly and you can always finish off a great lunch with a delicious canolli..
