Portabella - Bracken Ridge

Two of us enjoyed a delicious dinner. We shared the bruchetta which was unusual but very tasty. Pumpkin, onion and fetta combined. We then had the barramundi which was moist and crispy skinned. Dessert was of course the yummy creme brulee with ice cream. We...had two glasses of wine, a red and a white and both were good. Coffee was aslo good. There are some interesting beers available as well as wine list. Service was attentive and pleasant. Portabellos is consistently good.

Met for a week lunch with 4 adults. we all decided on the same special with steaks differently cooked. eating was hot, tasty and timely. dessert was nicely plated, a little overpriced for the size of the teller, but still delicious. service was. friendly and attentive. large small jewel in albany creek.

Portabellos is a lovely restaurant, very delicious food, staff friendly and efficient, I have dined at this restaurant several times, and always come away very satisfied, I always recommend this venue to family and friends

We have celebrated many Birthday Anniversary and friends special occasions at this Restaurant. The food in this Restaurant is consistently great!! The staff are generally nice and friendly but lack experience to deal with issues of customer satisfaction. They dont seem to take any care to look after people celebrating special occasions. We just wanted a nice quiet spot to enjoy our lunch but got a petulant response from the staff when we asked to sit somewhere other than where she had allocated us... next to a little kid. There was absolutely NO shortage of other tables. I asked to sit down at the table with the bench seat but she refused saying they are tables for four.Despite this other couples were seated at tables of 3 and four. Well both bench seat tables were still vacant when we left!! Having Managed Customer Service/ Hospitality venues for most of my career I was astounded at the lack of friendliness and cooperation. She didnt even react when I said we were celebrating a special occasion. I love this Restaurant but you need to work on your Customer Service and deal with Customer requests in a more proactive manner.

I have reviewed this restaurant a few times before with mixed views. I have even vowed never to go back. But I was again taken here for dinner and found the staff, service and food back to the high standard it used to be. Sure they are no longer 'fine dining' but they have met a standard that I can accept and love.
