The night we ate here Beef Ribs were on special and Wow did they fill the plate. Loved every bite. This is not a romantic dinner place, sports on the tv, pool tables but lots of people enjoying great value meals. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Stumps Family Restaurant:
Very busy and noisy the night we went. Good food but entree and main arrived at the same time despite our request that entree be served first. Entree was really good. Salmon over cooked. View all feedback.
I had some feed here at my recent visit to the red centre. Good reliable pub fare, not much to offer for a vegetarian, but the haloumi burger is great. Long time on site for his first visit sat outside in the non-smoking area,... he was pleasantly surprised. It was a nice warm evening, and the food was very enjoyed. It can be too cold when sitting under the air conditioning, simply moving tables. The staff was nice and friendly. Never miss visiting my trips to Alice.
I'm happy to say that this is the best bar in Alice Springs. It is clean, well-run, and efficient. The staff are friendly, which is a huge plus. The bar is spacious and offers a good selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Additionally, they serve delicious food options. If you enjoy sports, you can catch the games on one of the many large screen TVs. You won't be disappointed when you visit Alice Springs.
During our visit to the Todd Mall shopping area, we chose to have lunch at this pub. The prices were reasonable, especially for the $14 lunch specials. I ordered the "pie of the day," which was a tasty beef and cheese pie served with potatoes and peas. The sides and desserts were all delicious. My wife ordered the fish and chips, which were good overall, but the fish had a very strong fishy taste, which was unexpected. The pub also had a good selection of beers on tap at reasonable prices.
The best thing about this tavern is that they still serve food after 2 a.m. on Saturdays, when many other places in Alice Springs are closed. We tried their burgers with somewhat peculiar curly fries, but they were perfectly tasty and satisfying.
Typical pub atmosphere but food is good. My husband had the barramundi and I had twisted prawns both of which were delicious and we shared lemon and lime tart. All good except the music was so loud!
