Bull & Bear Restaurant - Allentown

First time ordering from here and definitely won't be the last. Food was delicious, portions were big and enough to split into two meals. Salads were a fresh spring mix . Plan was to order through uber eats but by the time we decided on what to get, delivery wasn't an option for over an hour . So being we only had about hour and a half until closed decided to pre order online and pick it up being it is within blocks from us. Only down fall was online& Uber eats didn't show what the available veggies for the day and salad dressing avail etc were. I did have to call the restaurant first to find out and really should've just placed the order right over the phone with the owner, who was super sweet btw. This way we would've known if ran out of any of the sides selected. We know for next time. The food was ready within ETA time given on the site and they acknowledged the online order within first minute placed sorry for pictures in the containers . Once we opened and plated the food we dove right in

The food here is Excellent and order delivery from here often without any problems. I tried to order with DOORDASH and GRUBHUB but it won't let me anymore. Can you tell me if you are stopping your delivery service with them? Will you be using any delivery service at all now? Sure hope you do because I will really miss this place. Waiting to hear your response.

Let it be noted, I ordered delivery thru Postmates for this review I decided to order two meals for my order as I wanted lunch and figured with the delivery fee from Postmates I might as well get dinner too. For lunch I decided on the Greek Gyro with french fries (see first picture), the gyro was packaged excellently in an aluminium takeout container so it was still warm upon arrival. The gyro was large and packed with a good amount of meat, taste was good. I would say it reminds me of any other gyro I've had at a fair or music festival; quite good. The fries were your standard diner steak fries, they are alright, not my favorite, only thing is it did not come with any salt on the fries. Also came with a quarter of a dill pickle, which was a nice added bonus. Meal was a great value at $9. My second order was the Reuben sandwich with fries (see second picture), this also came in the aluminium takeout container and was warm upon arrival. I put this in the fridge to eat a few hours later. The Reuben was reheated slightly and was honestly phenomenal! Such a great sandwich with the dressing and the sauerkraut, I have to say one of the better Reubens I have had and will probably be my go to order from here. Like the other order the fries were unsalted (which I can't fault anyone for as it makes sense), however it said the Reuben was supposed to come with coleslaw, and my order did not have any coleslaw with it. Not a big deal and I'm not sure if that is a Postmates issue or restaurant issue. Overall, for the price the food is excellent and delicious. I will be back here in the future and recommend others give this place a try.

Eating here is excellent and order delivery from here often without problems. I tried to order with doordash and grubhub, but it won't leave me anymore. can they tell me if they stop their delivery service with them? will they now use a delivery service? sure they do that because I really miss this place. They wait to hear their answer.
