What G1455XBdavidf doesn't like about Da Zaccaria:
Walked through the tunnel from Amalia and saw this spectacular looking restaurant. (Cantina del Nostomo). A good measure of customer care is the Toilets and they were filthy. Food: Serves were small. My pasta arrived just warm, the seafood pasta has 3 very skinny prawns View all feedback.

Brought by friends of the area we had lunch with a wonderful view. good appetizers and first spaghetti with clams and patches to ourmo. friendly and witty staff. excellent sorbetto (with prosecco and limoncello. )
We asked to reserve a table for the evening...no.. full...no. ok well tomorrow..ok write your name on this paper. Arrived next evening...no full. I reserved a table last night...no full no table. If you want sit here...no we want to sit out at the beautiful view...the restaurant was empty. Ok then sit here.... soooo rude. Found my name in a table that I had written the day before.
Da Zaccaria restaurant is located on the steepest mountain rise, namely the bluff. This view alone is worth a trip. I recommend getting here early to get the best tables. The price is fair considering how touristic Amalfi is.
'Greeted ' by very rude man, despite having reservation he kept saying 'full ' . Eventually got seated, bread and menus put on table. We ordered carafe of wine, very watery. One of our group asked for the carbonara, he said ' no! We have no eggs! ' Mediocre expensive food and drink, only good thing was the location and view. Avoid.
