Contribute FeedbackTrax offers a mixed dining experience according to recent reviews. Many diners found the food during Ambler Restaurant Week to be lacking in value and seasonality, with some dishes being overcooked. Service was hit or miss, with some diners noting attentive service while others experienced long waits due to understaffing. However, the outdoor seating area was praised for its beauty, despite being close to train tracks. Overall, patrons found the experience to be a mixed bag, with some noting a desire to return for the food quality and ambiance, while others were deterred by the noise and service issues.
Our go to restaurant in Ambler turned out to be restaurant week so menu was limited (compared to usual menu) but as usual the food was great.
Great food great service and ambience too a wonderful night
We dined al fresco and enjoyed the ambiance of the greenery and passing trains. We were so happy to see the cayenne infused olive oil is back! Chef hit a home run with our seafood dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Great meal last night. The chef even had some excellent chopped liver and matzoh available for anyone celebrating Passover, very thoughtful! Excellent meals for my wife and I on a date night :
We visited during Ambler Restaurant Week and it was clear that they were struggling to keep up. Despite reserving an outdoor table, it was not ready upon our arrival. After a 20-minute wait to be seated, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes before the busy server finally noticed us and provided us with menus. The restaurant was clearly understaffed for a Friday night. However, once the food arrived, it was well worth the wait. The Restaurant Week selections were excellent and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the interior of the building (an old SEPTA station) was too noisy for a comfortable conversation, so we had to sit outside.
