I've been to Kubo twice and my most recent visit sort of changed what I thought of this place for the best. If you love Filipino food and are in Anchorage, I'd recommend stopping in. But also, if you want to retreat to a place that has that comforting and authentic Filipino feel, this is also your place. My wife and I wanted to let our friend who was leaving the next day for the Philippines to have a taste of the Philippine food before he arrived. It was in my humble opinion quite possibly the worst service and Philippine food I’ve had in my life. The food was decent but dear heavens the service was atrocious.
