I've been to Kubo twice and my most recent visit sort of changed what I thought of this place for the best. If you love Filipino food and are in Anchorage, I'd recommend stopping in. But also, if you want to retreat to a place that has that comforting and authentic Filipino feel, this is also your place. My wife and I wanted to let our friend who was leaving the next day for the Philippines to have a taste of the Philippine food before he arrived. It was in my humble opinion quite possibly the worst service and Philippine food I’ve had in my life.
