The best Chinese food restaurant in Anchorage! There are many Chinese food restaurants, but this one has been around for a long time. That means the owner and staff know what they're doing. If you have dinner in the restaurant then I suggest having a Tsingtao beer with your meal. If you have a choice, go spicy because it's not too spicy; there are only 3-5 small red peppers to add flavor. If you order online, which i... View all feedback.
What Matthew Hetherton doesn't like about Panda Restaurant:
The food was ok, mongolian beef didnt seem to have enough spice to it and the sweet and sour chicken was kind of bland, the fried rice didnt have any veggies in it and didnt have much taste to it, the lady that was taking orders was real nice and friendly though, but as far as the food goes there is better chinese food in anchorage. It's hard to overstate how consistently incredible this place is. Amazing food, every time. That Panda chain is hot garbage, this place is THE REAL DEAL. So so so amazing I have been coming since I was young and I'm so happy they survived the pandemic.
Relatively quick delivery. Food is good. Spicy dishes, though not bad, could be spicier. Would give if they had Szechuan Beef.
Soooo, sad this place use to have really good food. I ordered a lunch special with fried rice. I have not ordered in awhile but the fried rice used to have vegetables. The picture that is on line shows vegetable in the fried rice side as well under lunch specials. When I called and inquired why I just got plan yellow rice I was told this is the basic fried rice. If that is the case it should be advertised as such on the website. I stated that to the young lady on the phone and all she said was sorry. It really is because I will not be doing business with them anymore.
Glad my husband and I gave this place a shot! The food was hot and it hit the spot. Would visit again.
The best Chinese restaurant in anchorage! there are many Chinese restaurants, but this is long here. that is to say, the owner and the personal know what they are doing. If they have dinner in the restaurant, then I suggest having a tsingtao beer with their meal. if they have a choice, they go sharp because it is not too spicy; there are only 3-5 small red paprika to add taste. if they order online, which is very simple, then they should expect 30-45 minutes, provided there is no road maintenance to slow down the delivery driver. every time I visit the personal, it's very polite. if I could request a thing, it would be that a dessert is added to the menu. Having a birthday party here is boring because there is no dessert. if this evaluation was helpful, please click on the button like .
