I’d definitely come here for Korean side dishes! Free refills and you get a variety. The portion sizes of the dishes are smaller, but adequate. Very flavorful overall for dishes containing meat and seafood, but I’d stay away from sushi and dishes containing octopuses as they don’t taste so fresh. View all feedback.
What Mattie Kautzer doesn't like about Yechon:
For a family dinner. The restaurant was crowded when we got there and the tables kept on turning quick. We waited 5 minutes for a table. Staff were rushed off their feet and never stopped running while we were there. We ordered one of the bbq pots and there was plenty food for the 2 of us. Our daughter ordered the chicken teriyaki and it was really good. The chicken and vegetables tastes so fresh. Was worth it and wo... View all feedback.
We drive quite a while to get here and pass numerous other Korean BBQ restaurants along the way, but none are as good as this place. The quality of their meat is phenomenal. We usually go in a group of about 6 and everyone orders something different, and we end up all sharing, so we’ve tried a good portion of their menu, and everything we’ve ordered has been so good. We’ve never ordered their sushi or sashimi, so can’t comment on that. This place is definitely a favorite of ours, and it’s worth the the drive for us!
Old school Korean restaurant with great service and good kitchen. there were many Koreans. beautiful Banchan selection given, but the kiimchi was exceptionally salty to the point that I could not really eat it and the sesame oil for the bohnenprouts must have stabbed. I especially liked the water cress and the kartoffels. the cold spicy noodles were delicious, but I could have done without the more tasteless bark and birne. the trick I don't love. the Galbi-Tang my friend had was beautiful, the short ribs were very tender. loved the makrele, but it was too salty and we were super thirsty after the meal of it.
Our food was delicious, service was good, overpriced. we had various boggi and bibimbop dishes. they all tasted good. the service was good. our server, dressed in traditional Korean dress, came to our table whenever necessary, and served us well.
The best Korean food experience I ever had. they were very busy, but still manage to get them served and take care of themselves quickly with great food!
Sushi was delicious, we were very satisfied with the quality and fresh with their selection of seafood. highly recommended.
