We stopped here for lunch on the way to Geneva airport after a skiing holiday. We had a lovely meal overlooking the lake and would recommend anyone on the same journey with time to spare to do the same. The service was occasionally a little eccentric but always charming. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Reine Des Pres:
Great views and atmosphere- the food is on but nothing extraordinary. But the service was soooo slow- and when I tried to go to the cashier to get water or later the bill, I was ignored. Wouldn't go back- shame for them as I live in this town. View all feedback.
Asked to wait for a table only to be told the restaurant would now close. Worst service and attitude we’ve ever experienced.
We stopped here for lunch after a walk along the beautiful lakeside. The restaurant has a slightly rustic look from the road but do not let that discourage you. As it was winter, we ate inside, in the rather cosy dining area but the terrace...has a beautiful view over the lake. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. A great deal of care is put into each dish. While they are based on classic French and some Italian dishes, they also have a degree of originality. The prices are not low but very reasonable for the quality. You can also buy bread and their excellent patisserie to take away. We'll definitely be back.
We discovered this little gem just of the petit port of Annecy toward annecy le vieux. The view from the terrasse is over the lake so nice to sit here on a sunny day. The restaurant has been here for a while but I never...had a chance to get in until now. I should have as it is amazing in every way. The service is extremely friendly from either the waitress or Carine the owner. The food is delicious and home made with great ingredient. Make sure you keep some space for the dessert as they are to die for. We had lunch there and decided to come back there to order some buche de Noel as the restaurant offer the pastry, some bread and other delicatessen to take away. They had an issue with one of the ingredients (didn't received it) so we had the choose another buche. To appologize we got some gateau de savoie (local cake) offered as a commercial gesture. The buches were gorgeous and very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch, afternoon tea or gwtting some pastries to go home. Make sure to book as it gets pretty busy. Thanks a lot Carine and mrs waitress (sorry I don't know you pr name) for this wonderfull welcome. We felt at home.

A outstanding restaurant which is a product of love and care. Cerine and Sylvie were genuinely caring right from the start and made sure we went back happy and full. The place has a cosy ambience with fur rugs, lottery and books all along. The...pastries and cakes are amazing. Will be back....
