Les tonnelles - Antibes

We were at least 50 times in this restaurant. last night we noticed that it is quite quiet in the restaurant (we live 300 meters of it) so decided we would go for a meal. our first meal in a restaurant since covid, so we were really very excited about it. no hallo of the personal, only a "table for 2"? less than 20% of the restaurants had customers. we sat outside, because there is no air conditioning, but this is not a problem. it took ages for anyone who gives us the menu. then she ages again to take the order. the big guy who took the order just ignored us and looked at what went out on the road. hadn't even said merci after we gave him our order. we ordered a large bottle of foam water and they came with a small one that was opened so that we could not really get them back, so ordered another small one. when we had finished the main course (food good as usual for the price), we waited a long time again (no excused the restaurant at all busy) so they come and take our tellers and then another long time before they asked us if we wanted to dessert. waited at least 10 minutes until the waiter comes with the dessert card. Finally we ordered and then one because later he came back and said in French "we have no ice, have they lust on a strawberry sacrificial with wodka on it? "We said: "no, thank you", not even similar to what we had ordered. not even thank you or leave after they paid the bill. I'm sorry for tourists in this time of the year, as many restaurants know that they don't come back, so they don't have to. we are not going back to les tonelles.

Simple restaurant with good homemade food. the portion is generous, the personal friendly and efficient and the menu du jour offers an unbeatable price against quality ratio.

Stopped in here as we'd heard the pizzas were great. Weren't disappointed. Pizzas were cooked to perfection in the wood oven. I had a 4 seasons pizza, son had the cannibal. Toppings were good quality and very generous. Other diners were eating salads which also...looked amazing. Definitely coming back. Great value, refreshingly good quality and friendly service. We'll definitely be back again

The first time I went here the food was excellent, the price was right and the service was second to none! The second time I went the food was excellent, the price was right and the service was the worst I have ever, EVER experienced...in any restaurant. Yes, I complained to the owner. Yes I will go back again one day but not soon.
