A freezing cold Saturday night and the idea was for Mussels & chips at the Espadon. Right out of the door when the Chef/Owner came round to the table with the catch of the day for the 35 Euro Menu. Fresh Turbot. Never had it before but what a delight. Starters were good and plentiful but the main course was the Turbot, simply pan fried in butter and lemon juice with the traditionally overcooked French vegetables and... View all feedback.

This Moe's is the best aroundThe owner is a true patriot, offering military 30% off.
FOOD POISONING! This used to be one of our favorite places to eat until last week when we stopped in for dinner, and within 12 hours 3 out of 4 people in
In Houston, I had FreebirdsUnfortunately the nearest Freebirds is in Louisiana, so I settled for Moe's.
We had heard good comments about this restaurant such as "the best fish restaurant in Antibes" and the "only place to go for moules and frites" but we have always given it a miss as it seems a little run down.We had been disappointed by the moules at Albert 1er on our last visit so we thought that we would give this a try. The moules and frites were pretty good, as were the whitebait, and with a half litre of wine the bill was €36. Good value, and as we saw another couple having lobster we returned a few days later and had the “menu homard” at €35 each. First course is half a lobster with salad and the second course is the other half of the lobster with hot vegetables. The lobster was a little bit stringy and the vegetables were overcooked, and a salad that we ordered was limp with some rather old tomatoes and too much oil.The service from the same person as before seemed a little distracted (the second course came before we had finished the first one, and we had to ask for the lobster pick and the claw crackers, and the bread basket was not replenished)The final course of cheese and a crème brûlée was good, but the bill with a half litre of white and coffees came to nearly €100, which is not expensive for lobster, but was for what we got. I would return but only to have the straight forward food such as moules which they seem to do well, another couple were eating grilled sardines which looked good, but leave aside the more expensive dishes.
