Perfect pit stop for a coffee on the way to work, or if you live local it's a great place to stroll up to with the dog in the morning for an early treat. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially for recent coffee drinkers. View all feedback.
What Abby Abernathy doesn't like about Appin Corner Cafe:
Literally this was a quick stop, walked in the door got abused along with about 3 other customers for taking too long to get in the store and leaving the door open whilst trying to enter. I don't know how we were meant to enter the store other than through the door. One customer defended us and this just opened him to a tirade of abuse from the store staff member. I don't usually make such effort to leave reviews but felt compelled to after my dining experience. I ordered a tomato soup that was somewhat nostalgic to me coming from meditation background. I haven't ordered such a tasty tomato soup in years. The owner was also a lovely and warm character.
Lovely cafe on the way to Bulli with very friendly owner/manager who made us great burgers. Good value for money and happy atmosphere in the cafe.
Do not eat there. Paid $9 for a chicken snitzel roll and was the lowest grade of chicken I've ever eaten. Chicken is cheap how can you serve such rubbish

I don't know how we were meant to enter the store other than through the door. One customer defended us and this just opened him to a tirade of abuse from the store staff member. I walked out and never looked back at this terrible place. I guess if you are desperate you could eat here, but this place has entered my blacklist. Hope 2017 is a little more friendly and peaceful for this store.
I love this little cafe as the service is very welcoming and kind. The experience is a quiet non-formal atmosphere that you can either grab something to take away quickly with no hassles or simply sit down and enjoy the peace and quiet. It is a great place to meet up with local friends or make new friends. I often sit and read the newspaper or work out my to do list of things for the day. The owner is very personable and will talk and serve customers personally with the greatest level of professionalism and attention to detail. I was impressed on how much he really cares about the quality of each order and that I was satisfied with my purchase was amazing. I am now a regular and will coming back as he is planning to start a crepes breakfast menu soon. Yum :)
