The restaurant is a modern building with a very comfortable interior. The waiters were very friendly and the food was amazing, we had some clams and sole that were very tasty. The restaurant had very good prices. I recommend it to anyone!

When staying in Aguda, dining at the restaurants right on the beach is wonderful, but on a very windy evening we decided to walk inland to Sabor a Mar. Here we could enjoy our meal on the terrace in the pretty, protected garden featuring a rabbit, cat, and turtles! We started out with the usual tasty olives and some deep fried little packages of something quite nondescript that were on the greasy side. The rest of our meal was excellent. We had the grilled veal with sausage and bacon and the grilled pork filet, served with French fries and boiled kale. Both dishes were massive. For dessert we had the delicious chocolate mousse cake and the cheesecake, which also was good, although the raspberry topping was extremely sweet. Mention must also be made of the excellent coffee we were served. The waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. Dining at Sabor a Mar definitely was worth the walk from the seaside.

Sabor ao mar is a typical traditional Portuguese restaurant. Great service in a well decorated modern dinning room. Fernando the owner has put his heart and sole into it.very we'll priced do try the clams and maybe follow with fillet steak. Great value. Closed on Wednesdays. !!
