We spent two winter vacations at Punta Placer Bungalows and had many nice meals at the restaurant. The food is good, and each day they have a special. Nice atmosphere. A must visit in San Agustinillo. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Punta Placer Restaurant:
We stopped in and gave it a shot. Wife hated the Oaxacan fish tamale, I got bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese - sounds great - but kind of bland. Overall nothing to write home about, you can skip this one.I agree with another reviewer, decor was nice which was what sucked us in. View all feedback.
Decor was nice, as well as our server Manu, but the food lacked sasón that ineffable quality that makes food delicious. Which is a shame. A saving grace is that I requested the pasta al dente and it was. My spaghetti with shrimp has more...shrimp shells and tails than shrimp, plus the Sauce was oily. My wife had shrimp tacos, also full of shrimp tails and shells. Kinda gross. I'd pass and go to other places instead
Nestled in shade between the cabanas right on the beach a friendly and peaceful spot for lunch with delicious empanadas

Oscar makes great guacamole and nachos and fries. The fruit waters are great. Beers are cold. His service outstanding.
Steps leading down from the main street will bring you to this casual friendly place. They even show free movies on the beach periodically.
