I ordered a 6 oz sirloin cooked well, with baked carrots and salad. The waitress brought the steak and it was only cooked on the outside. I sent it back and asked for it to be cooked properly. When it came back, the steak was still pink throughout. I told the waitress I didn't want it anymore. She informed the manager and took the steak off the bill, but only deducted $2 from the $14 meal. I only received a salad, wi... View all feedback.

I was disappointed with the seafood buffet that was priced at $25. The selection of hot seafood was lacking, including mahi mahi, flounder, groupers, and shrimp. It would have been worth the price if the buffet had been well stocked and maintained. View all feedback.
The food is excellent and the service is friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I arrived at 1:40 for a late lunch. The restaurant closes at 2 pm to prepare for dinner service at 5 pm. The buffet and menu were still available when we arrived, and the hostess seated us promptly. We decided to try the buffet, which included a great salad bar that my wife particularly enjoyed. The buffet offered the usual options like meatloaf, fried fish, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Overall, it was a refreshing change from the typical fast food options.
I really enjoy the Sunday morning breakfast buffet. It's the best I've ever had.
Be sure to check opening hours for The Fireplace restaurant. (See photo) We had Sunday breakfast buffet at The Fireplace and found many dishes to choose from. My husband said the grits were very good, choosing plain grits over the cheesy grits. There were several styles of breakfast potatoes, eggs any way you wanted them prepared by the “egg chef”, along with a big dish of scrambled eggs. Bacon, ham, sausage, pork tenderloin, gravy, eggs Benedict, fresh fruit salad, toast, big biscuits, a tray of sweet breakfast treats, and nice looking pancakes. I’m sure I missed other dishes on the 2 large buffets. There is also a menu to choose other options. If your looking for a good Sunday breakfast, you must try this restaurant. Prices are quite reasonable. We knew it had to be good because so many of the law enforcement personnel were eating there. Those folks know where to find good food. Definitely going back when we’re in Asheville. Enjoy!
The breakfast was delicious and the waitress was very friendly. I recommend everyone come here. I will continue returning here.
