Michelangelo's Aspendale Gardens

I have dined here on many an occasion and it never disappoints. Although the layout is more bistro like and large capacity, the service is fairly good and it is convenient for those with kids. They have a vast and varied selection on their menu, with something bound to suit all. They also have a pizza area for takeaway i believe and a large ice cream counter where you can get as many scoops as you like. I enjoy the mini cinnamon donuts that come with a warm nutella dipping sauce. Mmmm mmm delish!!

Such great food and service every time we come, our favourite local restaurant :) can't pick a favourite dish as they are all great and staff go above and beyond, not to mention the lovely owner.

A group of us were there for dinner and had a variety of menu items. Everybody reported being happy with their meals: chicken piccata, pizza, pasta, salads. Our waitress was really friendly. The manager also helped as the place as packed! I'd go there again.

Usually I would have nothing but positive things to write about this place. However not this visit. We arrived at 8pm were seated and shortly after ordered. When the antipasto platter arrived I couldn't believe how much was not on the board for the price. It was very poor quality the meat was not fresh it was rubbery and the salmon smelt horrible. We also ordered spaghetti and meatballs to share which basically tasted like SPC spaghetti from a can and rubbery meatballs. I should of complained however I didn't. When we paid we were not asked how our food was it was simply a transaction no customer service. This used to be a place I enjoyed going to but will not be returning to again.

Myself and seven friends had dinner, the service was great (love a waitress will to have a joke), it didn't take long for our meals and drinks to arrive, the meals looked fantastic and tasted great.
