The food, service and experience here is amazing. They have a great menu, but they have so many specials that I highly recommend going for one of the specials. We always have a great time when we come here!! However, menu items were changed and there weren't many options for our gluten intolerant friend

Everything was excellent. Despite arriving late for our reservations, we only had to wait 10 minutes, which was not an issue. The staff was very professional and we were not rushed at all. Our food arrived promptly and the Short Rib with polenta was amazing. My dining companions also enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have the chance to visit.

The quality of the food at this restaurant was better than expected and well worth the prices. Rocco, the host, was very welcoming and made sure to visit each table personally. We will definitely return and would recommend this place to anyone in search of high-quality Italian dishes.

Lived in Astoria for over 10 years and heard about this place for ages.. finally got to try it and the food was delicious and service spot on.. don't know why it took me so long

I?ve been to Il Mulino, Carbone and other ?fancy? Italian restaurants in Manhattan. But Trattoria L?incontro in Astoria is by far hands down THE BEST among them. Absolutely the best homemade Italian food and the best service. I can?t think of a different word other than BEST. This is a must try when you in New York????????
