Cortez, Cortez, Cortez!! Absolute gem! Sat at the bar and had the best service I've ever had. Fast, friendly and went above and beyond to fix my drink. I will absolutely be back to Mustard Seed everytime I visit Atlanta just for Cortez! The gentlemen that was working with him was also on point in the dining area. Want a good drink, great service and conversation, go see Cortez at the Mustard Seed across from D26! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mustard Seed:
This is my third time visiting this restaurant, and I enjoy the food. However, the staff here have very poor attitudes. No one acknowledged me until I had to write down my order and pay on their phone. They were too busy texting before giving me my card back, and they never have pockets. I will not be returning because good customer service is important to me, and I did not experience that today. View all feedback.

Someone at the bar was surprised by the no monetary policy. the bar person cortez in a nobody started used old rich white man long money more diatribe. eating is good, but I can do without the attitude and racist social commentary.
I (a woman) sat just a few minutes at the bar while I saw the bartender cared for three men and make tee before she even realized that I was there. I asked if she had made coffee and she said that she had no coffee, which is specifically listed as a featured item on the menu. I ordered a beer as they had “NO coffee”. she has identified me what is good, but I have only accepted my state granted digital license, which I just used in two other restaurants and tsa (with additional security). I'm 44 and I look 40. She first said that they did not “think” she could accept it and then said it was the social policy (without asking someone) after I told her that I had to use it all morning. I was bartender/server for 15 years. her bar had 3 youngs she was busy with. it was more than obvious that she didn't want to wait for me to start with it. it's good. I pay airport prices somewhere else. she worked at 10 o'clock, 4/6/22. this employee should be trained on discriminatory, customer service and business policy procedures.
This place stands out for its speed and service. I could easily sit at the bar, order the brisket, finish my meal, and have the check ready in the time it takes to grab a fast food burger elsewhere in the Atlanta airport. So, let's address 99% of the complaints about this place. Is it the best meal I've ever had? Probably not, and yes, the prices are a bit high, but that's to be expected in a small airport restaurant. I visited again last month and experienced the same quick and efficient service. The brisket wasn't amazing, but it was decent. Overall, there are worse food options in the Atlanta airport, and the staff here know what they're doing. They may not have time for small talk, but they work efficiently. Let them know they're appreciated. This level of service is rare and welcomed in the food industry. I'll definitely be back to concourse D next time.
The food is decent, but the bartender is terrible. They have a bad attitude and act like they are overworked. It seems difficult for them to keep up with filling barbecue tubs.
