Not sure if it was just a bad day or what, but my food was horrible. I’ve ordered before and didn’t have this problem. The Frito pie was SUPER dry. It was literally BBQ meat (no BBQ sauce in sight), chips and a few sprinkles of cheese. It was all a NO for me. I tried to call the restaurant before I made this post and reached someone’s voicemail. Ordered up brisket plate a pork rib/brisket plate with potato salad beans. Absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Tender and flavorful to the max. Next time getting more pork ribs. Also, Thank you for the bonus bite!Kid-friendliness: Outside seating makes fairly worry-free cleanup if the kid blasphemously drops a piece.Salute
It's a food truck, really. The meat I had was only OK. The brisket was nicely done, but the turkey was dry, and the sausage was a little overdone. Not inedible, but no real standouts either. Nothing to make me come back. The street corn and the coleslaw were very good though. The guy working was very friendly. It was all a little pricey but in this neighborhood you can't get away from that.Vegetarian options: Not a thing. It's barbecue, so it's all about meat.
I had the ribs and sausage at Big Vinny's and they were absolutely fantastic. The sausage stood out the most to me and was particularly memorable. Joe, our host, was generous and friendly. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Big Vinny's and would highly recommend it. The food definitely deserves a 5/5 rating.
