The location seems popular for gatherings and events, with private room options available. Readers are encouraged to try dishes like Brunch Relleno and enjoy the pleasant outdoor seating. Overall, the restaurant shows promise but may need to pay more attention to meal temperatures for an optimal dining experience.
Great atmosphere and cocktails. Service was very quick and waiters were super nice. Our meals themselves were a little disappointing. Nothing was bad, but the salmon was too bland for my liking. The guac and chips was more memorable. But would probably return to try other items on the menu.
Not bad. A solid choice nearby. However my tres leches was hard as a rock this time around. But the fish choice was good and the veggies. Always love the corn bread
I was curious about the catfish beignets on the menu at Z'Tejas, but unfortunately I didn't get to try them. The brunch at this restaurant is delicious, filling, and perfect for weekends. They offer traditional tex-mex dishes as well as some unique options like the barbacoa omelet, which is a great combination of meat and eggs. The only downside was that the potatoes were a bit soggy from being covered by the omelet, but the fajita eggs were so tasty that they could have easily been a dish for two. Overall, a happy eating experience at Z'Tejas.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Our large party was accommodated in a private room with our own bartender and servers for a buffet dinner. The team did an excellent job, they were friendly and managed our group with ease. The food was delicious, starting with a salsa and Queso bar, followed by a variety of Tex Mex dishes, enchiladas, and build-your-own tacos. We really enjoyed it!
Michael is the best waiter at Z’Tejas. I had an amazing time in Austin sampling most of the menu. They have happy hour appetizers available from 3-6 every day. I loved everything I tasted, such as the catfish beignets, Yuca fries, mushroom shrimp enchiladas, spinach pecan encrusted chicken with Gorgonzola, beer battered fish tacos, and Cebollas locas. I wish I had more time to try even more dishes.
