Great spot for dinner with friends - unpretentious - Just great food.Menu's been re-vamped recently and there are some absolute crackers!Highlights were the prawn toast - could have eaten a bucket load!and for mains the Chicken Mossman was awesome. On my visit here I was amazed at the arrogant view of the restaurant and wait staff. Food is fine - for a beach restaurant- but not out of this world. A more humble attitude would make it more enjoyable. View all feedback.
Great place for a quick bite , great menu too, the pork belly dishes my favourite are outstanding , presentation as it should with a lovely salad and dressing ,prices range from $ 8 for an entree to $ 28 for the mains .Service friendly and excellent
The food is right up there with some of the best restaurants. The Asian influence makes for very interesting and different dishes. I had Sashimi & Penang Curry - my wife the whitebait and Jew Fish - all were excellent. Staff friendly and attentive. Probably the best restaurant in Avalon.
We had a lovely lunch here on a Friday. I have visited this restaurant several times and always had beautiful food.This time there were three of us. The mains we had were the trout fish cakes,pork belly with scallops and the beef burger.We had chocolate pudding with vanilla ice cream for dessert. All meals were fabulous. Service was great and they allowed us to sit, chat and drink until 5:30. A great afternoon.
Not a wonderful birthday experience... went there with 2 girlfriends for my birthday dinner. Food and service was fine. BUT, as we were there on their non byo nights, the Asian woman in charge was completely inflexible when it came to bringing in our own preservative free wine. As I am alergic to the preservatives in wine, I need to drink preservative free wine. Even though we explained it was a special occasion - and thus, a one-off, no dice. If you're not going to stock a wide variety of wines you could have been at least a bit more flexible....
We have been many times and the food an service are always great. My favourite is the salt and pepper tofu
