What Charles Paris doesn't like about La Manutention:
The restaurant was extremely busy- fully booked. We started the meal outside but after sudden rain we were found somewhere to sit inside. The menu looked good with figs stuffed with pistachios etc . There was a lot of salad leaves on the plate quite well dressed but the food didn't live up to its description on the menu. Perhaps we chose an evening when the staff were overstretched. Very well but less user-friendly than before. Probably because of the morose economic context. I'll come back anyway.

I had the chance to taste an excellent tuna tartare at the entrance and then excellent gnocchis with truffle that would deserve a little more texture but remained very good. "Very friendly staff, I had a great time there with my girlfriend. The restaurant is located in a quiet side street in Avignon. It's quite new and well decorated, and the food is really good at a surprisingly decent price, although the menu isn't big. We had a very enjoyable experience, definitely worth it."
