We were tired and had a big lunch at another place so when we arrived in AYER'S CLIFF we just wanted something quick i.e. no fancy spread out dinner. I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor so we decided to give it a try....Both the service and dinner was great. Just simple and what we were looking for. The restaurant holds about 30 to 40 people and looks to be a local favourite. They do take out as well. View all feedback.
What Zoé Millet doesn't like about Restaurant Chez Maurice:
overpriced Casse-Croute with too many flying around. fries were dry, burger was flat and swamp was without taste watery. the fish was good, but came with the dry fries and a colony of flying. the first and last time for this place. View all feedback.
This is a Canadian style diner that is good for breakfast and lunchThey have outdoor seating in the summer.
We had dinner here while staying in the area and loved the updated diner concept the moment we walked through the door: it's still got a diner vibe (best seats are at the counter) but is fresh and updated to include tap beer and an expanded menu that includes some of the best pizza I've ever had: great tomato sauce and delicious crust. The simple garden salad was also on point. The diner closes at 7 but the price and food are so reasonable, it's worth eating early! Daily specials also seem to be great deals. Service is quick, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend if if you're in the mood for comfort food with updated-retro ambiance.
Small restaurant that suits everyone, welcoming team and pizza is excellent! generous plates are served for a small price.
This little place is a good stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The prices are good, the service is friendly (although there is usually just one server working the inside and the patio, please keep this in mind and don't be too demanding) and the food was just fine. The pizza was particularly good and fresh. We had breakfast here twice, it was quick, generously portioned , and our coffee cup was kept filled. It's small so not a place for groups. Just simple, good food.
At least the hotdogs, the bread was filled with butter and the onions filled with oil or fat, in short the whole was cooked in the fat.For the atmosphere, nothing to say, the waitress was nice.
